Engine tune-ups include a variety of different checks to make sure that your engine is in top condition. As part of an engine tune-up our technicians will check, diagnose, and replace bad spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor caps, fuel filters, air filters, and oil filters. Tune-ups can also include checking emission levels, fuel lines, wiring, coolant hoses, and serpentine belts.
For most vehicles it is recommended that you get an engine tune-up every 10,000 – 12,000 miles or every other year. However, with advances in technology newer cars may have different recommended engine tune-up intervals, so check with your vehicle manufacturer.
